Your music is really thoughtful. How long do you contemplate what the subject matter will be?

Thank you! I contemplate a lot haha. I write a lot of ideas and I’m very thoughtful about the storyline. Songwriting is very personal to me and I write about my experiences, so it’s my way of sharing a bit about myself.

Context is everything, do you make sure you are clear with your messaging? How do you do that?

Definitely! I actually take a lot of notes and will spend as long as necessary on any given line. I like every hook to have a clear theme.

What music has been worth the wait for as long as you’ve been working on it?

My song Dollhouse definitely, I’ve had the idea for a while and I love how it turned out. There’s a pop-punk song I’ve been working on called Vendetta that is really starting to take on a cool direction so I’m excited for that.

Will your fans be surprised with what you have coming up next?

I think so! I have some more introspective songs, some lo-fi, alt-pop/pop punk, hip-hop.

Who have you been in the mix with on your music?

I’ve worked with Grammy Award Winning Engineers and Producers Derek Minor, Earl Cohen, Jared Lee Gosselin, and Skidd Mills. Wande and Derek both featured on my recent singles.

What are you daring yourself to do as you get further along in your music?

I have been getting out of my comfort zone and having more fun experimenting with sounds.

What are you daring yourself to do as you get further in your career?

Be more open and raw.

How do you feel like your work is shaping your fans who are listening?

I hope it is empowering them.
