The Mark DeAlwis Salon was the scene last night of what began as a book signing/meet and greet for Hollywood Royalty Joely Fisher, but instead became a high society/celebrity gala event. Produced by celebrity make-up and hair designer Mark DeAlwis and Photographer to the stars Billy Hess, featuring the brilliant DJ Ian Ford, became a late autumn explosion. The fiery and vivacious, producer, singer, author and actress, Joely Fisher, (daughter of Eddie Fisher and Connie Stevens, sister of Carrie Fisher), arrived in a beautiful maroon jumpsuit, ready to take on the planet.

The signing of “Growing Up Fisher” proved to be anything but conventional. The room filled up quickly, and the champagne began to flow. Fans of Joely were amazed by her warmth, candor, friendliness, and desire to mingle with everybody. The turn out was successful and included: actor, author, and gym wrapped New York fitness expert for CBS, Jasson Finney, Albanian superstar, Mirud, International pop star Aaron Paul, former lead singer from Simon Cowell’s British boy band World’s Apart, Cabaret Nightlife entertainer, Tym Moss, and the echelon of society.

Mark’s Salon, a perfect venue for a quiet, upscale evening event, and a complete makeover by day, suddenly became a supreme and full blown after-hours New York City party. DJ Ian Ford cranked up the music, Tym Moss interviewed people on the Mark DeAlwiss red carpet, while Joely Fisher signed her books, and rockstar, celebrity photographer Billy Hess snapped pictures. Joely addressed the audience, spoke of her new one woman show referencing her book, her appearance at 54 Below, and her up and coming appearances in Vegas and Palm Springs. At one point she exchanged books with actor Jasson Finney who’s children’s fitness super-hero book, the first of it’s kind, “The Adventures of Captain Pump” is being released worldwide on November 27th, 2018.

The madness and and champagne continued for an hour after the signing ended. Everyone had to agree the celebration was magnificent and a vibrant, surprise….Great job Billy Hess, Mark DeAlwiss, and especially Joely Fisher!
