How would you classify your music?
As a songwriter, I don’t like to box myself into one genre. My passion is country and I’ll always write something with a country vibe, from Americana to Christian Country, I do it all!
Who are some of your top 5 musical influences?
Some of musical influences include Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Garth Brooks, Josh Turner, and Darius Rucker.
What do you want fans to take from your music?
I would hope fans take the positivity that I like to share in my writing!
How’s the music scene in your locale?
In Massachusetts, the music scene (particularly the country music scene) is bigger than you would imagine!
When did you know you were destined for music?
When I started listening to the radio when I was fourteen years old, I know I wanted to be involved in music in some way, and jumped right in. Now, at the age of nineteen, I am doing everything in the industry from radio to promotion to public relations back to songwriting!
What is the best concert you have been to?
The best concert I have personally been to has to be Thomas Rhett!
How have you evolved as an songwriter over the last year?
I have been able to evolve by getting feedback from songwriters who have done it for 50+ years and able to teach me how to make melody’s and such.
If you could meet, play a gig, co-write a song, have dinner, have a drink with any band or artist (dead or alive) who would it be and why?
This is such as tough question, I ask it on my show all the time! I’d have to say Eric Church! Eric has a unique way of writing his music and I enjoy his lyrics!
What’s next for you?
I’ll be hosting a songwriter’s night in Hendersonville in March, as well as attending the ISSA Awards in August. Follow me on socials to stay up to date on my journey!
