Chef Steven Bulgarelli, Chief Culinary Officer at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar is an enthusiastic supporter of the fact that Applebee’s has been celebrating Veteran’s Day by offering our brave men and women who have or are currently serving our country free meals for the last 12 years.

In fact, 9.8 million vets have been served free food since Applebee’s started this annual tradition.

Vets are encouraged to head over to Applebee’s for some fun and a free meal on Veteran’s Day, Monday, November 11.

Chef Steven Bulfarelli has spent many years tweaking the menus and making great dining experiences for the guests of Applebee’s. He is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. He made his bones perfecting the casual dining experience.

There are more than 1,700 Applebee’s restaurants across the country and each of them is dedicated to supporting our veterans.

Chef Stephen Bulgarelli, Chief Culinary Officer at Applebee’s, spoke with Michelle Tompkins for The Hollywood Digest to tell us how and why this popular restaurant chain celebrates Veteran’s Day, as well as showed us how to make some of their delicious entrees and gave some great other great tidbits.
