How would you classify your music?
Our music fits in the contemporary pop genre with our rich melodies and production.
Who are some of your top 5 musical influences?
Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Tate McRae, Billie Eilish, and Adele.
What do you want fans to take from your music?
We want them to be able to connect with our music and enjoy the melodies.
How’s the music scene in your locale?
New England is the happening place for music. We were introduced to open mics when we moved to Boston in 2019 and were highly influenced by singers and songwriters in our community.
We are so grateful to have performed at Hard Rock Cafe, Faneuil Hall MarketPlace, Loretta’s Last Call in Boston, The Stone Church in New Hampshire, the Food Trucks of America Festivals, and many open mics throughout New England. We are also lead vocalists in the headline band Synco, managed by Performers on the Go and have a schedule of 20+ shows each season.
When did you know you were destined for music?
From a very young age we started writing music and our first song was called “The Bat
Song”. We remember jumping wildly on our beds and singing the song for our mom and dad. Music has always been a part of us, and it’s been a journey of discovery with learning and growth, as we’ve been influenced by so many genres – musical theater, classical, rock, and pop.
What is the best concert you have been to? What do you like most about playing live?
We’ve been to Ed Sheeran’s concert in Chicago, and it was so much fun! Seeing how he was able to connect with a live audience made us want to do the same when we perform live. One of our favorite recent performances was at an open mic night in Waltham where the audience was dancing and singing along to the songs we sang.
Is there a song on your latest CD release here that stands out as your personal favorite, and why?
Each one of our songs is unique and our newest song ‘So Far away’ is our new favorite. It is a song about the unbreakable bond between siblings who are always there for each other. The lyrics reminisce the special moments shared together, the late-night talks, the inside jokes, and the laughs. Despite the distance, the memories that were created will always hold a special place. We hope our new song will resonate with anyone who is close with a sibling or a loved one.
How have you evolved as an artist over the last year?
Over the last year participating in competitions and performing at festivals, open mic nights, and community events have allowed us to connect with diverse audiences and grow our creative skills and write new music
If you could meet, play a gig, co-write a song, have dinner, have a drink with any band or artist (dead or alive) who would it be and why?
If we could spend a day with any artist, it would be Taylor Swift. Her songwriting skills, ability to tell a story, and make her fans feel like they are going through the same experiences as her is inspirational. Collaborating with her would offer us insight into how we can create impactful music.
What’s next for you?
We are working to expand the reach of our music by increasing our fanbase and social media presence. We also hope to get our songs placed in TV and film soundtracks and be featured in retail stores.
