Jay W. Walker and JC Augustine will be featured guests on “If These Walls Could Talk” with hosts Wendy Stuart and Tym Moss on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 at 2 PM ET live from the infamous Pangea Restaurant.
Wendy Stuart is an author, celebrity interviewer, model, filmmaker and along with If These Walls Could Talk she hosts TriVersity Talk, a weekly web series with featured guests discussing their lives, activism and pressing issues in the LGBTQ Community.
Tym Moss is a popular NYC singer, actor, and radio/tv host who recently starred in the hit indie film “JUNK” to critical acclaim.
Jay W. Walker, who plays “Coyote” in JC Augustin’s “In Crocodile’s Lair” at Theater for a New City, is a longtime NYC Queer activist and event producer. He is an organizer and the Social Media Manager for stopthecoup2025.org‘s #StopProject2025 campaign. Jay co-founded the Reclaim Pride Coalition and the Queer Liberation March, is President of Gays Against Guns and is a founding and active member of Rise and Resist. For the last 2 years Jay has co-hosted the “Gurl Stop” podcast. Jay received the 2022 Frenzy Fest’s Best Actor award for his portrayal of “Jonathan” an Augustin’s “Whiskey River.”
JC Augustin is a playwright and artist who lives in Washington Heights, Manhattan. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, he is the first American-born son of Colombian immigrants. His play, “Whiskey River”, was named Best Play at the bi-lingual 2022 Frenzy Fest Theater Festival at El Barrio Art Space in East Harlem. As a performer he has appeared in several productions at Theater for the New City and at LaMama ETC. His one-man show Forty-Hour Poems and the interactive C-Tawk were performed at the Loisaida United Neighborhood Garden’s (LUNGS) annual Harvest Festival. He is a graduate of American Conservatory Theater’s Advance Training Program and holds a BA in Journalism from San Francisco State University. His plays have been developed in workshops at Primary Stages, The Village Playwrights, The Shakespeare Forum Theater for the New City. As a journalist, Augustin has served as an editor and staff writer for several publications including Miami New Times, Miami Herald, Philadelphia Inquirer, and The South Florida Blade. His favorite gig is ferrying queer elders on his pedicab at the annual Drag March.
