Ceci Carmichael always loved food, but she originally planned to be an actor. She has been in more than 150 commercials. She graduated from the Institute of Culinary Education and eventually started Swell Food Catering company in New York City.
The Food Network took notice of her and she went on to host Calling All Cooks and Good Food Fast. Later on, she joined the team on Fine Living’s Simplify Your Life as the cooking expert. Carmichael is an expert Home Made Simple on OWN.
She is also passionate about philanthropic efforts related to food and healthy lunches in schools including Wellness In The Schools.
Ceci Carmichael Spoke with Michelle Tompkins for The Hollywood Digest to discuss her culinary background, what makes Wisconsin Cheese so special, offered some great tips for using cheese when entertaining, as well as giving some yummy recipe tips. Did you know that in order to get 1 pound of cheese, one needs to use 10 lbs of milk? Wisconsin cheese wins more international cheese competitions than any other location. More than 600 varieties of cheese are produced in Wisconsin.
