Despite the threat of a raging Boston Blizzard which did eventually arrive during mid showtime, the New England Music Hall Of Fame exploded in a flurry of talent, music and fun. Co-founder & President Christopher Annino &  Co-founder Angel Orsini faced last minute fires that even the snow couldn’t extinguish and still the show went on. The evening held the vibe of possibilities …. The acceptance of the things to which fate binds you and love of the people, with whom fate brings you together with. Trapped in the amber of the moment it was the stuff dreams are made of…..

Some of those present included composer Randy Edelman, last year’s inductee who opened the show with his performance of “A Weekend In New England” and then accepted his media award for Album of the Year for his new release “Waltzing On A High Wire” via Tribeca Records. The first inductee was Jon Butcher, singer/songwriter, and Boston legend who opened for The J. Geils Band and others. Linda Gaines, Donna Summer’s sister presented an award to Broadway star Mary Callanan, and punk rocker Springer and Ms. NEMHOF Margaret Cresta was also present. Drummer Chris Frantz, and Rock n Roll Hall of Fame inductee and bassist Tina Weymouth, both members of the iconic Talking Heads also came and supported the festivities. Others in attendance included singer Renee Leavitt,  who received an artist of the year award who was accompanied by dad Gary Leavitt a popular Boston radio host. Trans author Vikki Vine was there representing the LGBTQ+ community.

The NEMHOF was founded to unite, educate, heal, influence, promote and preserve the integrity of New England’s music, and the people who embody it. They want to utilize music as a tool to build and help people. They have achieved their mission both live in virtual through awarding, talented musicians, and other positive contributors with the recognition. They so greatly deserve their events, as they create opportunities for musicians and music lovers to connect, network, and promote amazing talents. That is the reason they exist.

The event will be available for streaming on ECUSA TV.
