Finnish artist Sam Huber has recently released his highly anticipated new album Songs For Mona on True Groove Records, now available worldwide.
Often referred to as “The Funkiest Man in Finland”, Sam Huber is the embodiment of Global Soul. After closing out 2018 with standing-room-only shows in NYC, as well as on his 7-city tour of his native Finland, Huber charges into 2019 with his new release-Songs For Mona– a soulful collection of ballads and mid-tempo cover songs, re-imagined and dedicated to his earliest, and perhaps most profound influence…His Mother.
Songs For Mona puts Huber’s rich, emotional baritone front and center. The lead single, Sam’s timely take on George Harrison’s classic Isn’t It A Pity hasan accompanying music video directed by cult filmmaker Dylan Mars Greenberg.
