On April 25th at 4 pm eastern time,  scientific thinker and author Howard Bloom will dissect the state of the world with author and cultural leader Daniel Pinchbeck in the fifth IAIS Dialogue– a dialog for the International Academy of Information Studies (IAIS), at the MEET link: https://meet.google.com/gqm-frcd-apg?pli=1

Bloom has been called the Einstein, Newton, Darwin and Freud of the 21st century by Britain’s Channel 4 TV.  His eighth book, The Case of the Sexual Cosmos: Everything You Know About Nature Is Wrong, will be published within days of this dialog.  Harvard’s Ellen Langer says that in The Case of the Sexual Cosmos, “Howard Bloom makes a forceful and interesting argument that our understanding of nature is wrong. He argues that we are not savaging the earth as some would have it, but instead are growing the cosmos. A fascinating read.”

Daniel Pinchbeck is a deep thinker who first gained fame with his book Breaking Open the Head. He runs a psychedelic intellectual community, the Liminal Institute, and the Elevator.Earth research center. In the twenty five years in which Bloom and Pinchbeck have known each other, the two have seldom agreed on anything. But that’s what has made their debates so electrifying.  And so fruitful.

The International Academy of Information Studies (IAIS) was founded, in August 2023, to achieve a new understanding on a fundamental problem in our societies: the rise of informational disarray and the increasing knowledge incongruity. Pedro Marijuán, Chair of the IAIS Board, will moderate this Dialogue. See https://sites.google.com/view/iais-info/home
