SMGlobal Catwalk, an international fashion movement, presented one of the of NYC’s Fashion Week’s most dazzling showcases in an array of sparkling and glamorous couture designs. The mastermind of SMGlobal and executive producer is award winning designer Samina Mughal who has combined fashion, music, model management, artistry, events, TV, and a multi-designer store. She is also the founder of “Relief SMGlobal Foundation INC., a 501c3 charity with a mission to help woman and children around the world lead better lives through education and training,

Samina’s fabulous collection includes couture dresses and gowns, at affordable pricing, using unique embellishments, and unconventional silhouettes. Her fashion sparkles with a kaleidoscope of sexy, eclectic and slightly edgy creations, inspired by her multi-cultural upbringing futon the exotic East to the edgy European vibe.

Presenting along with SMGlobal was Maria Elena Couture fashion designer Maria Elena’s Cuban inspired, effervescent and colorful line of vibrant couture. She defines her brand as “a climatic glimpse into vibrant cultural prism that is my native melodious Cuba and dynamite American culture which echoes through my designs.

The show case was a victorious display of beauty and charisma from start to finish.. the vivacious climate, sleek and salacious models, and melodious entertainers brought the sold output house down. An interesting twist to the evening was the cancer survivors that got the chance to walk the runway for SMGlobal. It was a heartwarming and emotional moment.

My favorite model of the evening was a riveting beauty, with hardcore elegance and attitude, walking for her first time in New York, British born, Lily Stevens. Her style was incredibly sleek and intriguing. Standing at 6″2′ without heels, dark brown hair and sea foam eyes, she was contagiously charming, with a raw wildness that captivated the audience.

The evening manifested itself in an exciting and compelling and enjoyable spotlight. With SMGlobal currently traveling to Paris and then London I want to wish her as much success as she celebrated in New York,
