It’s everybody’s dream to garner success and fame at the same time, but it takes more hard work than most people think. People think gaining popularity on social media is super easy and requires no effort. If anything is true, it’s the contrary. Social media is an extremely big platform and climbing to the top of it is not so easy. However, if you continue your struggle in a systematic, dedicated, and wise way, you can become a star.

Today we have the honor of interviewing one of the world’s most inspiring young social media influencers, Kristina Edwards. Kristina is the CEO of Classy Chic Marketing, a company dedicated to helping new influencers grow. She has worked with hundreds of brands. She started working as a social media influencer in October 2019 and just, within three years, became a super-success in this field. Let’s ask Kristina what life as a social media influencer really is like.

Interviewer:

Hello. We are so happy and honored to meet you. You are a famous and successful social media influencer and digital entrepreneur. Tell us about your life and how it all began.

Kristina Edwards:

Well, thank you so much for your compliment. For me, it all began in 2019. I had been working in real estate till that year. Working as a real estate broker was good financially, but the schedule was extremely overwhelming. And I couldn’t be selective about it. I would sometimes stay in my office till 10 pm, writing up offers and catering to my clients’ schedules. That was not fair to my four kids. Although I had good success in real estate, I couldn’t work there at the expense of ignoring my kids. That’s when I decided to seek something new and leave that specific real estate career for good.

I would scroll through Instagram, admiring the content of influencers, the things they wear and places they go, etc., and I would wonder what would happen if I became an influencer. So, one day I decided to research how to make money as an influencer. I really gave it my all, and I am so glad I did. Now I can work from my phone while I am spending time with my kids. I can select when and who to work with or for. There is also a huge sense of freedom when you are spending time with your family and still able to make money, doing what you love.

Interviewer:

Wow. From real estate to social media influencing, that’s an amazing transformation. You are now very famous. Being an influencer of such stature is not an “easy” life. You must be extremely busy all the time. How do you go through such a hectic routine and still stay fresh as a daisy?

Kristina Edwards:

You are totally right; life as an influencer is no walk in the park. Sometimes it can be very hectic. People underestimate the amount of work you have to do as an influencer. Their contracts and deadlines. I travel a lot and try to get some content while I am traveling. That requires extensive planning and puts a lot of pressure on me until it’s done. So yeah, it’s not easy. However, I cope with this issue by planning out my content creation ahead of my travel shooting. That way, I can follow my schedule quite comfortably. It also helps me spend more time with my family.

Interviewer:

You are an absolute travel-lover. You produce most of your content through traveling. Why is it so?

Kristina Edwards:

Absolutely, I love traveling. I can’t imagine a life where I don’t travel. It keeps me happy and healthy. It helps me grow as a person. Surprisingly, I used to be afraid to go to new places or to even fly. But when my kids grew up, I realized I should be a model of exploration and adventure to them, not someone who spends most of the time at home. The world is so big and beautiful, and if we were meant to be stuck in one place, we’d have roots attached to our feet. Traveling, I believe, is not a luxury but an important part of life. We are meant to see new things, to learn, evolve and grow. Every single time we come back from somewhere, I’ve changed. Internally deeply changed. When I see nature and its beauty, it’s awe-inspiring. The growth of your experience as a traveler is inevitable.

I am in love with boating beyond words. Being on the water makes me so happy. It’s so serene, calming, and peaceful. We bought a 98′ Queenship to travel as a family at leisure, and we have seen so many new beautiful places. We plan to go around the US and then pop on over towards Europe. I look forward to it all year round.

Interviewer:

Would you like to tell us about some of the best things you have experienced as an influencer so far?

Kristina Edwards:

The best things so far are the friends and the connections that I have made along the way. It’s so fantastic to meet strangers, and then they become your friends within no time. It’s even more amazing to meet people from other countries and cultures. Everywhere I go, there are always people who I know and love to meet and have coffee or lunch with. The brands are amazing to work with, too; helping them accomplish their goals while feeling proud of myself is one of the best parts of my life.
