Well thank you so much for having me, I really appreciate it!
When do you feel you are the most creative?
I feel like I’m most creative when I’m around other creatives. I had someone ask me the other day if I’d be alright with having our friends in our recording session and I said “definitely!”. Having more people around me means more energy to absorb. As long as everyone is positive it’s a vibe.
What have you been most proud of learning lately?
I think I’ve been most proud of how to give myself a break. Over the course of my career, I’ve struggled with all kinds of burnout and stress. It’s healthy to take a step back from time to time, spend time with family/friends, and really take in the progress you’ve made so far.
If you could live anywhere for a year, where would you live?
I feel like a lot of people from here would love to live anywhere else but I’m not too sure if I’d want to live anywhere other than Melbourne, I think a year would make me too homesick! If anything I’d probably just move into a nicer house in the same state, my love for Burn City runs deep.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
I’ve thought about this a lot actually, I’m a bit of a nerd for comics! I’d have telekinetic powers because those types of abilities are typically pretty vague. You could do almost anything from reading/controlling minds to moving objects/yourself with your mind.
Is there anything you would like to master?
There’s a lot of things I’d like to master. The top two things would probably be how to be a master lyricist and then I’d also love to master being a parent to my two kids. Musically there are endless skills I’d love to master, but that’s definitely my top 2.
