What have you been working on recently? Any exciting projects you want us to know about?
I have been working on so many projects lately! I’m not like most artists where I focus on one project or album. I am a songwriter at heart so I have many producers that send me tracks from all over the world that I’m currently working on. Music under my name is released very frequently, so I highly encourage anyone who enjoys any of my songs to follow me for song releases.
What would be a dream bucket list career achievement for you?
A collaboration with Drake would be the biggest bucket list achievement. Drake has easily become one of the most consistent artists of our generation. I consider him a legend.
What is your favorite part of being an artist?
Favorite part of being an artist is using my imagination for a living. It’s so cool that I truly get to what I love to provide for my life.
You have an amazing social media presence! Will you tell us a bit about how that came about and what your favorite part about having that presence is?
Social media has been a long struggle to get where I am now. I used to be in a group with 2 of my best friends. We were all very active on social media and were early adopters of Vine and Musical.ly which is now TikTok. Doing covers on all those platforms slowly grew us to where we are today. It was never one big jump, always slow and steady.
How do you feel the internet has changed up or influenced the music industry?
The Internet has completely flipped the industry in my opinion. Marketing your music is very different than before. I liked how important performing was back in the day, but it seems now labels care more about social media numbers than experience or talent. There are many pros and cons to today’s industry style.
Do you have a mantra or piece of advice that you carry with you that you like to share with fans or upcoming artists?
People need people is something I wish the world heard more. Music is just another thing that helps accomplish this goal.
