How would you classify your music?

I would classify my music as modern pop music with life lessons and a classic/nostalgic twist.

Who are some of your top 5 musical influences?

Madonna, Taylor Swift, The Carpenters, Post Malone and Whitney Houston.

What do you want fans to take away from your music?

I want them to feel a sense of hope and inclusivity. Meaning it could be a happy song that gives them a sense of worth or a song that makes them feel like they aren’t alone in their struggles. Isolation and stress is such a killer and I think something all of us deal with.

How is the music scene in your city, country?

I’m in LAA so there is lots of music but I love the energy and most people have positive vibes.

What is the best concert you have ever been to that has truly inspired your live performances?

I would say Britney: Piece of Me in Las Vegas, I love the performances aspect, dancing and upbeat songs.

What do you enjoy most about performing to a live audience?

It’s such a freeing moment to be able to be on a stage where you can perform the way you want and sing the songs you want to sing. It’s a place where I can be myself and when there’s an audience who gets me and my music it’s one of the best feelings in the world.

Is there a song on your latest CD release that stands out as your personal favorite, and why?

Yes, probably “Do You Think That I’m a Fool?” because I think the message is very empowering. I want everyone to feel that sass of not caring what others think because so many of us are held back by other people’s opinions or the fear of judgement.

How have you evolved as an artist over the last year during these challenging times?

I’ve evolved a lot because I’ve had a lot of personal, mental, and physical struggles. It’s actually made me a lot more positive and a risk taker because I realized life is short and you only get one so might as well go for it. It’s made my music more positive and a bit more experimental.

If you could meet, play a gig, co-write a song, have dinner, have a drink with any band or artist (dead or alive) who would it be?

Probably Karen Carpenter or Madonna because I think they are so strong and have both have the whole package from voice, stage presence to personality.

What are your future plans?

I want to put out as many songs as possible, and keeping posting everyday from daily music videos, coming up with new creative ideas as well. I’d also love to get back to performing and acting once I’m fully vaccinated and it is safe.
