Celebrity Chef Sam Talbot talks about his life, work and gives tips on how to thrive with Type 1 Diabetes
Chef Sam Talbot first won us over on season 2 of Bravo’s Top Chef, but he continues to make a name for himself in the culinary world. As a member of the Type 1 Diabetes family, he has dedicated himself to help other diabetics and the people who love them live happier, healthier lives.
Chef Sam Talbot is from North Carolina and he worked in a variety of top tier restaurants from the South to way up North and even Out West. In addition to appearing on Season 2 of Top Chef, he also appeared in the All-Stars season as well as returning for Season 14.
He is a staple on food tv and is the author of the diabetes cookbook “The Sweet Life: Diabetes without Boundaries.” In 2015, he started a nonprofit called Beyond Type 1 with Nick Jonas, Sarah Lucas and Juliet de Baubigny.
Chef Talbot partnered with Medtronic to talk about the Live More and Worry Less campaign and the new technology out there to help manage this condition.
