It can be challenging for parents to help get their kids to eat food that is both delicious and nutritious, but one ingredient that gets a gold star is orange juice.

According to a new survey by the Florida Department of Citrus, 55 percent of parents find it challenging to get their kids to eat nutritious options, with a third of those surveyed find breakfast to be the most challenging time.

Alissa Rumsey offers tips on items to keep on hand that will help parents prepare nutritious, time-saving meals that the kids will love.  She also demonstrates some delicious recipes that are quick and easy to make.

Alissa Rumsey spoke with Michelle Tompkins for The Hollywood Digest about her educational and career background, what parents can do to help appease the pickiest of eaters, which items people should keep around to help prepare healthy snacks and meals, how Florida Department of Citrus is helping families come up with great meal options and more.
