Linda Chorney, Grammy Nominee, Writer, Director, Producer, Award Winning Filmmaker; and star of her feature film, WHEN I SING, based on her true story, will be speaking at Sundance, as part of a Film Industry Experts Panel, on Tuesday, January 29th.

Chorney, (self-proclaimed “Jackass of All Trades”), has spoken of her music business expertise and personal story, on such prestigious platforms as TEDx, NAMM, and Berklee’s ReThink Music Conference. She will now expand her repertoire, by sharing her experiences in the film world.

Chorney’s film, WHEN I SING, based out of Tucson, has won more awards on the film festival circuit than any Arizona independent feature film. With ten laurels, including Grand Jury Awards, Best Features, and Audience Choice Awards, Chorney will stop in Sundance on her “Wicked Awesome World Tour”, after her screening at University of California, Riverside. Director of WHEN I SING, Robin U. Russin, secured a grant from the University, for the film.

After Sundance, Linda will screen WHEN I SING in Denver, Santa Fe Film Festival, and Beloit Film Festival, to end the tour before the long awaited release to the public, which is targeted for Spring of 2019.

Tickets for “Up Close at Utah Film Studios”, moderated by Corky Kessler, January 28th and 29th, are free and available on Eventbrite.
