Hi Muszette! Thanks for being here today!

Is it harder to write or produce a song?

I would definitely say produce because I’ve never really learned how to master that, and think what they do takes so much patience! Between listening to a million sounds, the technical difficulties, and then creating all the right levels to a song, it is definitely a feat. Writing is just tapping into that creative part of your mind that channels the music and I think in its best form that should be really effortless.

Do you ever experience writer’s block? What do you do to get over it?

I think you just have to write consistently. Even if what you write is total trash one day, you’re still exercising a muscle that can lead you to gold the next. I also think it’s so important to have something super specific in mind when you’re writing, if it’s too general to you it’s kind of overwhelming to write from that place.

What is your musical background? Who or what got you into wanting to make music?

I grew up humming and singing before I could speak so it’s always kind of been what I did! I have a strong background in musical theater and show-choir, and as a kid used to make tons of music videos with my friends. I am so lucky to have such a supportive family and they just really encouraged me to pursue this career path.

What is your favorite thing about performing live shows?

That the moments on stage with that particular audience will never be experienced again and anything can happen in that energy. I also love that I’m responsible for creating the mood of the entire crowd and I can use that to empower and inspire my audience.

Do you have a favorite song to perform or that you are looking to performing?

All the songs on my new EP  – Big Mood!

What kind of music are you listening to right now?

A lot of feel good pop!

Do you listen to any podcasts that are related to music? If so, which ones?

I actually haven’t gotten into the podcast game too much! Although I was recently interviewed on a couple that I think are discussing wonderfully important topics – Be a Force, and Rethink Mental Health, so definitely check those out!

Do you like to collaborate with others? What is that process like?

That is the only way I like to work! Because I don’t do too much of the producing, I like to collaborate on the music side of things and then let the concept / lyrics / and toplines come to me based on what we are creating together.

What is next for you?

I’m going to be continuing to promote my new EP Big Mood through weekly YouTube Videos I post either Monday nights or Tuesday mornings! I have a ton of lyric videos, music videos, and live versions of the songs in the pipeline. I also have so many hilarious ideas I’ll be posting on my YouTube, so definitely follow me for those! And then of course always working on new music, I can’t WAIT to perform live again as soon as that can happen.

Please tell our readers where they can follow you!
