Hello Hannah! Thank you for taking time to chat with us today. Tell us how you are doing?
Hi! Thank you so much for interviewing me! I’m doing well! I’m just trying to hang in there during these crazy times, like all the rest of us! I’ve been spending lots of time with my family, which has been really nice!
What has this time of social distancing been like for you? Has it given you more time to focus on music or do you find it more difficult?
It’s been hard to balance everything, but I’m managing! I’ve been doing lots of songwriting, which has been great! I’m also a college student, so I always have to make sure I’m getting my work done, too!
Share with us a little more about yourself – what has your musical journey been like?
I grew up in a house full of music-lovers, and my mom says that I have been singing since the day I started talking. I’ve known since I was a little girl that I wanted to pursue music. My mom and I hopped on a plane to visit Nashville about a year and a half ago, and the rest is history! I fell in love with the city and decided it was the perfect place to pursue my dream! It hasn’t all been easy, but it’s always been very exciting! I’m so thankful for all the support I’ve received.
Have you written any new music this year – any plans to release anything?
Yes, I have been writing constantly! I am releasing my debut single, “Phoenix Rising” on May 1st! It’s a song all about self-love and I’m so excited to share it with everybody!
What music are you listening to the most right now? Any particular artist?
I have been absolutely loving Kacey Musgraves lately! She’s one of my favorites. I’ve had “High Horse” on repeat for weeks!
Tell us your favorite quarantine snack?
Cookie dough ice cream has been my go-to! Not the healthiest, I know, but we all need a little pick-me-up sometimes!
Anything else you would like to share with our readers?
I would just love for them to know that I am so grateful for their support!
