How would you classify your music? 

Eclectic, a pot pourri of Pop, Folk, Country, Americana  and Alternative

Who are some of your top 5 musical influences? 

Cat Stevens, Neil Young, Train, Pink Floyd, Eagles

What do you want fans to take away from your music? 

Instinctively being attached or experiencing an emotional response to  either the lyrics and/or melodies

How is the music scene in your locale? 

Vibrant.  Although a relatively small city, and extremely isolated Perth, Western Australia has an enviable reputation for its vibrant music scene. Musically, Bon Scott (AC/DC), and INXS were from Perth as were Actors Heath Ledger and Sam Worthington

What is the best concert you have been to? 

Visually  and Artistically Roger Waters “The Wall”. More Intimately  and emotionally  it would be Leonard Cohen’s farewell tour.

What do you like most about playing live?

Interaction with the Audience. Everyone is busy with their lives and  to find time to want to be with me is both humbling and inspiring.

Is there a song on your latest CD release here that stands out as your personal favorite, and why?  

“This songs for you” . I wrote it for my mother when she was  first diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. I still remember her words  when I  sang and played it to her  when she was still alive. She  just looked at me, and  in her eyes I saw my real mum when she whispered  “It makes me Fly”

How have you evolved as an artist over the last year? 

I guess I have been more self reflecting  on my life  as an Artist and more affected by human emotions and feelings. We are all on this planet for the same purpose in life, even if the lessons differ !

If you could meet, play a gig, co-write a song, have dinner, have a drink with any band or artist (dead or alive) who would it be?  

George Harrison. Despite being part of probably the biggest and most successful band in the world, he explored and nurtured his spiritual progress without being overtly religious.

What’s next for you?  

Working hard to promote this Album and after that look at touring worldwide. Hopefully another Album will be in the works soon
